Séminaire co-organisé avec le CEE, 12 mars 2018, Paris :

Shaping European Futures: Crisis and Governance Choices

COMMUNICATIONS ET COLLOQUES // PAPERS AND CONFERENCES
Édité le 4 Mars 2018

Over the past decade, the European Union has adopted various crisis management mechanisms and policies across sectors. These can be found in traditional sectors such as civil protection, but also in economic, financial, social or environmental crises. These reforms reflect wider transformations of modes of governing in Europe and of the distribution of power between European and national institutions. They also participate to shape the debate about the ‘crises’ of Europe, its future and its legitimacy. The seminar will discuss those themes based on on-going research on the multi-level governance of crises and the role of the European Court of Justice.
