Rethinking Prosperity: Confronting the inequality and climate crises.

SciencesPo – January 15 2018, 6pm-8pm

Standard economic indicators, such as GDP and growth, as well as standard macroeconomic models tell us very little about the two biggest challenges threatening the prosperity of human societies in the early 21st century: the inequality and ecological crises.
This first edition of the annual “Forward Forum” of the School of Management and Innovation of Sciences Po will bring together high-level experts and policy makers to highlight both the inequality and climate crises and their interrelations. From Pope Francis to the World Bank, there is indeed growing recognition that social and environmental predicaments affect one another and must be address jointly to be successfully mitigated.
